Pop in, have a chat and see if you can start saving on your bills in 2017 at the New Year Detox Event hosted by Fairerpower. The event will be held at Nantwich Town Football Club 10:00 – 14:00 on the 28th January 2017.
The free event will give anyone the chance to meet providers of mobile, broadband, energy, insurance, banking and more to help seek out the best deals.
A main objective of Fairerpower is to encourage people to be proactive with their energy costs. A study by Ofgem (1) has found that 90% of domestic energy customers are still with one of the Big Six providers and 40% of these customers have never switched – it is these factors that lead to people living in fuel poverty with large energy bills.
7000 customers who have already switched to Fairerpower have saved a total of £2m on their gas and electricity bills. So, why not also check your insurance, mobile and banking services at the New Year Detox event to see if you can save money elsewhere?
Confirmed attendees so far include RBS, EE, Fairerpower, Connecting Cheshire and County Insurance.
Fairerpower is a partnership between Cheshire East Council and energy provider OVO Energy.
